An EAP is a service designed to help employees deal with and resolve problems at work or home impacting their well-being and professional performance. An EAP's main aim is to provide people with confidential, expert assistance and support in times of stress. EAP is a short-term support service that usually allocates three initial sessions for an employee or their immediate family member to access talk therapy. The employee contacts the service to request support, and the EAP service sets them up with a talk therapist. They attend the therapist's office location or have their sessions online. If needed, more sessions can be requested. You should contact your direct manager or HR specialist to access such services. I offer flexible online and in-person appointments. Sessions usually are 50 minutes in length and arranged to fit your schedule. If you are in Blenheim or Marlborough region, please, come to my office. For those living outside Marlborough, we can set up a Zoom, Google Meet, FaceTime, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp video chat. It saves your time and is convenient, affordable, and confidential. I work with Instep and Benestar groups. EAP counselling is 100% covered by companies and is free of charge for my clients. I provide short-term solution-focused therapy and long-term therapy.
